Coffee-Mate Liquid Creamers : 2/$3 there is a August booklet coupon for $1off 2 and MQ for .55 off here that makes it 2/.90cents woohoo!

Kellogs 4/$10 includes cereal, crackers,poptarts ricekrispie treats etc. (select items) you get $5rr when you buy 4 ! Now if you have the coupon from a few weeks ago for $5/5 printable use that. The sale limit is four so you will end up paying a bit more on that fifth box. You will end up paying about 12.99 for 5 boxes minus your $5/5 coupon and get back 5rr so a total of 2.99 for 5 boxes of cereal. You could also use different coupons for the cereal and poptarts etc and still get a great deal. Mashupmom has a few ideas

Viva Paper Towels on sale for 5.99 use the August coupon book for $1 off and one coupon from Nascar Kimberly Clark book for $1 off. and they are $3.99 not a great deal but I need paper towels desperately. 

Crayola Markers 8pk are on sale for $2.00 and you get back $2.00 RR= FREEEEEEE 

Pantene Shampoo and conditioner is on sale 2/$7 if you have a coupon for free pantene from their face book use that (somehow I received two! so two free and a $2 rr :) ) There are also a few Pantene coupons out there namely the $3 off two coupon from 6/17 (can't remeber the insert) that expires today!!! Use that $3 off two and you pay $4 and get back $2rr so 2 for $2. pretty good deal!

Oral B advantage toothbrush is on sale 2 for $6 with a $3rr. If you use two $2 off 1 coupons7/3parper (THEY EXPIRE TODAY) you will end up paying $2 and get back $3 rr for a profit of $1! 

Gillette Fusion Proglide is on sale for $9.99 and you get a $4RR there is a coupon in you 7/31 p&g for $4off so it will cost you about 5.99 out of pocket but you get back $4rr so it ends up costing about $1.99. BUT I  would use the $3.50 rr from the cottonelle on this to get oop down to $2.49 then with the $4rr its $1.51 kind of money maker (don't forget if this is all your buying to get a filler item to cover the extra coupon) 

***Complete Contact Solution is on sale for $8.00 and you get back $8 RR =FREE but in today's paper 7/31 (SS) there is a coupon for $1 off on 1 so make $1 and have clean contacts!

Dawn Dish Soap is on sale 99cents...there is a 50cents off coupon in the 7/31p&g so it makes it 49cents. however this is the small dawn.

HURRY!!!!
For one day only at Walgreens you can pick up two 12 packs of Cottonelle for $10.00 and end up paying about  $1.25-1.50 for each one!

Here's How to do it 


There are .75 off 1 coupons in the 7/17 SS (last weeks paper) (bring two)
Grab you new August Walgreens coupon booklet and there is a $1 off 1 coupon
Walk in, get 2 Cottenelle 12pk large rolls (they say $5 on them)
Give the coupons and Cottenelle to your check out lady
Pay $6.50
Get back $3.50 in RR
Total cost: 2 for 3.00 or 1.50 per package or about 12cents a roll!

Now that's a good deal, but if you were lucky enough to snag those Nascar inserts at jewel a few weeks ago you have $1 off 1 coupons and you end up paying $6 getting $3.5 back and getting them 2 for 2.50 or 1.25 each or about 10 cents a roll!

So this week has been crazy! Hope no one missed me too much !

Today is Sunday and there are FOUR !!!! inserts in your paper. Hooray! I got 4 papers....well i purchased 3 and my delivery has yet to come even though I called the tribune. GRRRR. If I don't see it show up by about noon Ill call again. I may just have to splurge and go buy another one.

Behind the Coupon:Walgreens irony

So I ran up to Walgreens with my mom tonight to see if they had received their shipment of school supplies yet....No supplies. But I read over at KrazyCouponLady.com that Wags had a deal on Maalox. Unfortunately the coupon in her region was for 10/3 we here in CHICAGO only got 1.00 off one and 2.50 off two..:( sad but still a great deal! So coupons in hand and Maalox in basket, I browsed the store. I found Bigelow Tea on clearance for ....drum roll ....25cents! I took two earl gray and two green tea. But wait, what else did I see, Tabasco sauce on clearance for 25 cents! I took all four.(they don't expire until 2014) The irony in the trip? Maalox to take care of my poor belly after I use all that Tabasco sauce!
My Coupons:

Maalox Max on sale @ $4.99 a bottle wags coupon from July book for $2 off 1, and 1) $2.5 off 1 and 1) $1 off 1.
**total price $14.97-coupons= $ 5.47 or $1.82 a bottle
4 Bigalow teas 25c each = 1.00
4 Tabasco 25c each= 1.00
total= 7.47 plus two RR for $2 and $4(from last weeks deals) 7.47-6.00= 1.47 total plus tax, I believe I spent about 2.07?  But my receipt was victim to coffee so I couldn't tell you the exact amount!
So check your wags for clearance items!

Behind the Coupon: Quick trip...WALGREENS

This morning on my Sunday Dunkin Donuts coffee run (I LOVE COFFEE!) I stopped into my Wags for a quick coupon trip. Walgreens is having a problem with a shipping distributor for some of their back to school items, so I didn't end up with everything on my list :( I have two brothers still in school, so this year my goal is to get their school supplies as cheap as possible!
What I would like to do in this first Quick Trip post is to tell you how the coupons work. For those of you who already know how to do this I apologize. For those of you who don't please feel free to ask questions. FYI I totally recommend heading over to my favorite coupon site Mashupmom......(she's from Chicago like me and her posts are amazing) to learn all the walgreens lingo HERE

Here is my list of items and their price before coupons:

1 Walgreens Honey 12oz:                                       4.49 each
4 Milka Candy Bars:                                               2.29 each
1 Tylenol Precise pain patch                                    8.49 each
2 Papermate Mechanical Pencils 5pk                       0.19 each

So that is a total of $40.56 (not including tax) So just by using the sales alone, (basically the school supplies) I had an advertised savings (so "sales savings") of $30.14  That means that anyone can walk into walgreens and automatically get those savings without coupons.

My total after coupons was $12.08 BUT BUT BUT !!!! I had $7 in register rewards from last weeks purchases. So I handed those over making my new total $5.08......BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!!

I paid, and got that $4RR from buying the soaps....so if you look at my total of 5.08 minus the 4.00RR I spent $1.08 total $66.21 worth of products. This goes to show retail prices are ridiculous! Don't get caught paying them!
